Ladies Finger 250 gms Red chili powder 1 and 1/2 tsp Besan | Kadalai maavu 2 tblsp Rice flour 1 tblsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Salt as needed Yogurt 1 tblsp Lemon juice 1 tsp ( optional) Oil to deep fry
Wash the okra | ladies finger and pat dry them nicely. If the fry is planned ahead, wash it and keep it outside so that it will be dry. Cut them into roundels as how we do for the curry. In a wide bowl add the ladies finger, besan, red chili powder, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix them well and squeeze the lemon juice. Instead of lemon juice, you can add a pinch of amchoor powder.
