We make different varieties of sundal for Navaratri. I have posted many versions of different types of sundal in Jeyashris kitchen. This black chana sundal is a very simple and flavourful recipe. If you are planning to have guests for Navaratri evening, then you should try this sundal. Also we make kondakadalai sundal on Saraswathi pooja day. Apart from making this during Navaratri, we make kondakadalai sundal for Varalakshmi nombu, Ganesh Chaturthi and aavani avittam too. You can also make this sundal on days, you are running out of veggies at home. Also, check out the no-coconut version of Kondakadalai sundal. Check out our Navaratri neivedyam recipes.
