This drink is dessert-like – almost like drinking melted ice cream. The cashews and almond milk add creaminess, the frozen banana makes the drink nice and cold, and when you add in some freshly ground cardamom – it becomes over-the-top delicious. You only need 4 ingredients to make this drink: When it comes to desserts and smoothies, I highly suggest freshly grinding cardamom because the flavor is so prominent. Pre-ground cardamom just isn’t as flavorful. That’s not as much of an issue when it comes to curries because the spice tends to take more of a backseat, adding just a touch of flavor. I think cardamom is my favorite spice, especially when it comes to sweets.
