Blanch the almonds and take out the skin. Put the peas in hot water for 5 minutes and drain the water completely. If using fresh peas, pressure cook for 1-2 whistles. I used frozen peas. Grind the almonds and peas into a fine paste. Do not add water. If needed just sprinkle 1 tsp of water. In a pan add ghee and add the ground peas almond paste. Saute it for 5 minutes in a low flame. Add the milk to this now. Let this boil in a medium flame for 20 to 25 minutes till the milk thickens slightly and comes to a kheer consistency. · Switch off the flame. · Add the sugar and mix well. · Add milk masala to this . · Serve chilled.
