Bhel puri is a popular street-style snack recipe made with puffed rice, papdi, potato, and chutneys, and every place has its variations. Usually, we make sweet chutney and green chutney to make bhel puri. Some people make red chili garlic chutney to make this popular street-style chaat recipe. I am a huge fan of bhel puri and recently for a Mango fest organised by the Indian Embassy in Hong Kong, I made a cookery demo and showcased this mango bhel puri recipe. It was a super hit in the show. Check out my Instagram reels to know more about the show. Coming to the recipe, I have not only added raw mango and ripe mango pieces to the usual bhel puri to make it Mango Bhel puri. I made Raw mango green chutney and Mango sweet chutney to make it more flavourful. I have posted green chutney with raw mango in Jeyashris kitchen. Put everything in a blender and blend into a smooth paste for green mango chutney. Detailed recipe with full video already posted. Please refer to the link – Green mango chutney
Add fresh mango pulp, sugar, red chili powder, cumin powder, black salt, chaat masala, and water to a pan for mango chutney.
Cook for 15 minutes on a low- medium flame till the mixture turns glossy. Sweet mango chutney is ready.
Cool and store this in an airtight container. This can be stored for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
Add 1.5 cups of pori | murmura in a bowl. Add the papdis, onion, tomato, raw mango, boiled potato, chaat masala, red chili powder, ½ cup ripe mango, roasted peanuts, and lemon juice. Add the green chutney and sweet mango chutney. Add little sev and a few coriander leaves.
Mix everything well.
Garnish with remaining sev, coriander leaves, and ripe mango pieces Serve immediately.
