Mango, the king of fruits is my favorite, I have shared a wide collection of mango recipes in Jeyashris kitchen. A milkshake is usually made using milk, sugar, or any fruit you choose, and ice cream is added while blending or serving. It is a high-calorie drink. I have not used sugar or any artificial sweetener in this mango dry fruit milkshake. We are adding nuts seeds and dates in this recipe. Mango also acts as a nice natural sweetener. During this peak summer, you can serve this to kids for breakfast or in the evening. Even before or after a workout you can have this protein-rich no sugar added mango dry fruits milkshake. If you are a mango lover like me, do give this a try. During the non-mango season, you can make this using banana. You can add saffron, and cardamom to this mango dry fruit milkshake. Soak the nuts and dates in hot water for 15 minutes. I used pistachio, almonds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds. You can use cashew nuts, walnuts, figs, and apricots too.
Once it is done take out the skin from almonds and pistachios. Grind everything along with mango pulp and ½ cup of milk.
Once done transfer to a bowl and add the remaining 1 cup of milk. The sweetness of mango and dates are enough for this milkshake. No need to add any sweetener.
Mix everything well. Serve chilled.
I garnished it with fresh mango pieces and chopped nuts.
Notes: You can replace mango with banana. 1 tsp of cocoa powder can be added while blending the nuts to get a nice chocolate taste. Mango dry fruit milkshake can be served as a dessert too.
